VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMME ON VERMICOMPOSTING Under the second grant of CSR Scheme of NRL, R C Golaghat has installed a concrete Vermicompost unit at Nagora High School, Jamuguri, Golaghat District during the RY 2025-26 on 9th February, 2026. After construction, a vocational hands-on training was given to the students by Rtn Dr Minuara Begum in such a way that they can learn the process and handle it themselves. The sustainable maintenance and utilities of the compost unit will be look after by the students under the supervision of a mentor teacher. The training was aimed to use the vermicompost by themselves either in school/home or for sale. The students are entrusted to bring cow dungs from home and school will collect the green herbages, weeds, banana trunks from the campus. The project also aimed to protect agricultural crops from harmful use of chemical fertilizers and safeguard the human health and soil resources.
