On behalf of R C Golaghat, Rtn Dr Minuara Begum provided the training to 28 Farmers of three villages-Adharsatra, Chinatoli and 2 No Senchowa gaon organized by Sampriti NGO on 04 Feb, 2026 and the farmers has set up their Vermibeds supplied by the NGO at their home. As a next follow up activity hybrid varieties of earthworms were released in 7 beds out of 28 on 12 April, 2026 so that earthworms can multiply themselves in the vermibeds and casting can release. The sustainable maintenance and utilities of the compost unit will be look after by the farmers under the supervision of Rtn Dr Begum. The project also aimed to protect agricultural crops specially small tea growers and Agaru from harmful use of chemical fertilizers and safeguard the human health and soil resources.
