Rotary Club of Golaghat celebrated World Breastfeeding Week ,2025 at Kathkotia Anganwari Centre (which was adopted by the club during RY 2022-23) on 4th August, 2025. Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Scheme, Mother & Child Development Department, Govt of Assam, Community Health Officer and Supervisors highlighted the theme-"Prioritise Breastfeeding-Create Sustainable Support System " to the lactating mother & Pregnant women of the circle. Rtn Dr Minuara Begum also delivered a lecture on the topic highlighting the focus area of Maternal & Child Health. Lady members of R C Golaghat were present on the occasion.
