The sudden and untimely death of iconic Assamese singer Zubeen Garg during the sea outing in Singapore on September 19, 2025 has left Assam and his fans around the world in shock. Rotary Club of Golaghat took one minute silence prayer followed by floral tribute of the eternal peace of Zubeen Garg and offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. Later members sang the popular song "Mayabinir ratir bukut" together to mark the occasion and the everlasting inspiration left on Assamese society.
