Under the first grant of CSR Scheme o NRL R C Golaghat has installed a concrete Vermicompost unit at Tuleswari Baruah Moinapar H S School, Moinapar during the RY 2024-26 on 10th May, 2025. After construction, a vocational hands-on training was given to the students by Rtn Dr Minuara Begum in such a way that they can learn the process and handle it themselves. The sustainable maintenance and utilities of the compost unit will be look after by the students under the supervision of a mentor teacher. The training was aimed to use the vermicompost by themselves either in school/home or for sale. The students are entrusted to bring cow dungs from home and school will collect the green herbages, weeds, banana trunks from the campus. The project also aimed to protect agricultural crops from harmful use of chemical fertilizers, and safeguard the human health and soil resources.
